Something for Everyone

For those interested in astrology, tarot, meditation and connecting with personal spirit guides, the timeless wisdom of Qabalah and the Tree of Life could be right up your street.

The Qabalah is a wealth of ancient knowledge that promotes a way of life achieved through inner wisdom.

These timeless teachings have been handed down through the ages and are mapped out on the Qabalistic Tree of Life.  The Tree of Life is a versatile spiritual and psychological tool.  It covers all aspects of spirituality including healing, angels, astral projection, karma and much more - and can be used to help us in our daily life to recognise opportunities and overcome challenges.  Its implementation can be compared to using a road map in that it provides a tangible structure for us to be guided by as we journey through life, exploring and discovering more about our selves, our purpose in life, and the part we play in the bigger spiritual picture.

More on the practical Qabalah and Tree of Life, and our series of beginner workbooks, can be found on our websites:  The Order of the White Lion and Isis Qabalah Tuition

Getting started with learning Qabalah

As humanity lives on the Earth plane it makes sense for the journey exploring the practical Qabalah begins here.

The spiritual tool we use with the practical Qabalah is the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is an all-encompassing diagram that gives us a constructive picture of the different parts of:

Our Selves (personal Tree)
Humanity (human Tree)
The Universe (Cosmic Tree)

At the base of the Tree of Life we start by familiarising ourselves with the sephirah known, in Hebrew, as Malkuth.

In English this means The Kingdom.

The great oak Temple of Malkuth represents the physical plane and helps the individual to discover the energy of the material world.

We would meditate in the wooden temple of Malkuth to  recoup lost energy, to contemplate on the way we manage money, time and our life.

More on this earth plane sephirah can be found here  and in the Malkuth workbook.

Relaunch of The Order of the White Lion website

In memory of Jenni Shell 29th January 1941 - 29th January 2017

In 1981 Jenni founded Maat - a Mystery and later Qabalah school - designed to inspire individuals to put into practise their life as personality, soul and spirit beyond any rigid perspective.  Well over 6,000 people from all walks of life attended and had the chance to work closely with this powerful, down to earth and modest teacher.

Maat was named after the Egyptian Goddess of Truth and Justice.  The school ran for 25 years and was the forerunner for The Order of the White Lion.

In November 2005, when the last of the groups finished their training, the doors of Maat closed, and The Order of the White Lion took its place.  The Order of the White Lion was first launched in the Spring Equinox of 2002.

Today - on the anniversary of her passing - and to celebrate Jenni’s life’s work, we are excited to announce the relaunch of The Order of the White Lion website (O.W.L)

The new O.W.L website is now fully compatible with modern technology; responsive to iPads and tablets and a wide range of devices: http://www.orderofthewhitelion.com

Tree of Life - too big to pigeon-hole!

How exciting would it be if there was something easily available that could help you to make powerful changes in your life?

Something that could help you create your ideal life?

Something that could help you accomplish your goals?

Something that will lift you when you’re feeling down and disillusioned, and help you to understand why things may happen, and how to come to terms with, and adapt to, changes that occur in your everyday life?

Well .... there's something that can do all of those things, and more, and it's called the Tree of Life.

Forget labels and put aside any preconceived thoughts on spirituality, religion etc. because the Tree of Life is too big to be pigeonholed, and too useful to be dismissed as something only of interest to followers of Qabalah, Kabbalah or Cabala.

The Tree of Life is a wealth of ancient knowledge that has been passed down through the ages. This knowledge is geared towards helping you to watch your life - to improve and expand it - and to be mindful of the fact that your choices and decisions have far-reaching implications that carry forward and influence future incarnations in a beneficial, and also challenging, way.

Qabalah is for everyone

It's not religious.  It's more a Way of Life, and a guide to help you to create a way of life that is in accordance with the true nature of who you really are; that reveals and highlights creative potential and inspires you to develop, and use it, to live the life that's Right for You as an individual.

The Tree of Life is there to inspire and to help with the creation of a world full of imaginative, creative and fulfilled individuals. With each individual contributing in some way for the benefit of others. Everyone has a part to play. Everyone represents a piece within the great jigsaw of life.

Everyone has something to contribute - the Tree of Life can help you to walk the path that's right for you and find your life purpose. How exciting is that!!

If you would like to learn more about how Qabalah and the Tree of Life can change your life, take a look at our series of down to earth books. Designed for beginners each book focuses on a different aspect of spiritual energy and describes how it relates to your everyday life.

Explore the Magic and Mystery of Tree of Life

The beauty of the Tree of Life reveals itself through its versatility.   This magical and mystical tool truly offers something for everyone to enjoy, explore and learn from.  It doesn’t align itself with any particular religion or faith and yet, at the same time, encompasses all aspects of spirituality and recognises the worth in all traditions and beliefs.  The Tree of Life is more of a psychological tool and guide that helps to open our eyes and hearts to the bigger spiritual picture that we all play a part in.   Everyone represents a piece of the jigsaw of life.  Everyone has a role and function to perform this lifetime - it is wheels within wheel, cogs within cogs.  No function is greater or lesser than any other - they are all vital in helping humanity evolve, and understand, the essence of creation.

For more information on discovering how to live the life that is right for you take a look at our websites:  The Order of the White Lion and Isis Qabalah Tuition.

The teachings of the practical Qabalah are mapped out on the Tree of Life. To aid understanding of this ancient, yet timeless, wisdom there is a complete series of Practical Qabalah workbooks available to help you on your journey to enlightenment and creative fulfilment.

As with all things the best place to start exploring the Tree of Life is at the beginning and the sephirah of the earth plane - Malkuth the Kingdom.

Soul Functions and Life Purpose

Did you know that all of us are born with special soul functions and mottos for life?  And that each of us also has a Soul name that goes with us from life to life?

There is a vital force that directs the flow of creative energy down the path of the lightning flash - as shown on the Tree of Life - to manifest on earth.  It can be looked on as both personal and cosmic and is therefore closely associated with our own individual destiny and how this plays a part in the evolutionary flow of humanity as a whole.

As we advance spiritually we have the opportunity to begin to recognise that our own unique qualities - although small by comparison - are still an intrinsic part of the overall plan.

More on how to recognise Soul Functions - and what they mean -  can be found in the Tree of Life Soul Functions workbook.

The Tree of Life is a spiritual tool and guide.  This ancient wisdom can be used in a practical way in everyday life.
